It is a path that runs from Grade 9 to the day they enrol: choosing schools and a major, building marks and activities, opening the application accounts and assembling materials, essays, recommendations, interviews, and only then the offers and the enrolment steps.

What one application season covers
Working from each target school's own published application requirements, we build the list in three tiers — reach, match and safety.
Setting up the Common Application (CA) account, and the Coalition Application on the Scoir platform where a school uses that route, then filling in the information and holding the document checklist and the update deadlines.
The personal statement and each school's own supplements, from first idea through repeated revision to a final draft.

Grade 9 and up, aiming at a US undergraduate degree. We also take on students already in Grade 12 and in the middle of the current season.

We recommend starting the planning in Grade 10. The earlier the planning starts, the more time there is, and the more finished the application looks when it is filed. Grade 9 is earlier still and gives the activity side room to develop. If your child is already in Grade 12, we can pick the season up where it stands.
Most US undergraduate applications go through the Common Application (CA). Some schools also accept the Coalition Application, which is now delivered through the Scoir platform rather than the standalone Coalition portal that older guides — including our own Chinese-language pages — still call CAAS. Your advisor confirms which route each school on your list uses before you open an account.
This is the reference timeline we plan to. Individual schools set their own dates, so your advisor confirms every deadline on your own list.
Schools attended, the high school transcript, an activity record, score reports, the personal statement, and recommenders' names and email addresses. Each school publishes its own list, and that list is what we work to.
We do not publish other students' essays, and an essay that worked for someone else is the wrong model to copy. What we do share is how the writing works. The personal statement carries most of the writing load and is the piece families find hardest. A good one puts the applicant's own character forward while answering what that university and that program are actually asking about. It is never finished in one or two sittings — it is revised, and revised again for each school. Before it is filed, have a strong writer read it. That is the part our essay team does with your child.
