One plan, running from course selection in Grade 10 to the offer letter.

StudyPug Learning runs three lines of work together: academic planning, university applications, and private school applications. From course selection and the order extracurricular work happens in, through to school selection, application essays and interview practice, a local advisory team carries the file through to the offer.
This is not form-filling and submission. A planning advisor reads the student's strengths first, then sets the academic and extracurricular work in a workable order. The applications team writes a dated application plan and runs the supporting activities alongside it. A service team tracks the file and meets you on a schedule, so you know where your child's plan and application stand.

Senior academic planning advisors read the student's strengths and sequence the academic and extracurricular work around them.

A local applications team writes a dated application plan, then runs the activities that give the essays something real to describe.

A service team tracks the work and reports on a schedule, so you always know where the plan and the application stand.
The service spans Kindergarten through secondary school, secondary school into university, and university into work — K-12 and beyond. The widest service on this page covers that whole band.
For a university application, begin the academic planning before Grade 10 in Canada, or before the first year of senior secondary in China. The earlier the plan starts, the more time there is to do it properly.
University of Toronto — engineering, computer science, life sciences, nursing. University of British Columbia — engineering, business, medicine, law. Simon Fraser University — applied sciences, natural sciences, business, education, arts. Students applying to Canadian computer science programs usually strengthen their coding work at the same time.
Families preparing years ahead of a university application; families already in their application year who need essays and a school list; and families preparing for private school entrance exams and interviews.
Five services sit under this page. Each is a separate piece of work — this page is where you decide which one you need.
Parents see this: a year from now you have a written course-and-application order, your child knows which subject to shore up and which exam to sit next, and the application materials were not assembled in the week before the deadline.
Advisors build the Canadian and U.S. application plan one-on-one with the student.

We invite parents in to hear how their child is doing: what has been learned, where the plan stands, and how the application is progressing.
A service team tracks the work and reports on a schedule, so you are not chasing progress yourself.
North American applications usually involve IELTS or TOEFL. Families who are immigrating as well as studying also prepare for CELPIP and CAEL.
The teaching team includes licensed local teachers and subject teachers with years of classroom experience. Names, subjects and credentials are on the Teachers page.
Our senior university planning team becomes each student's own application advisor, sets goals from that student's own profile, and plans and follows through on every step. Alongside them, a large group of experienced academic tutors helps students lift their marks, so a student stands out in coursework and in activities.
Our local essay team looks for what is distinctive about each student, works the drafts over as a team, and builds an application that shows that student's strengths. With a profile-building advisor planning alongside, every student ends up with something in the application that is genuinely their own.
The private school essay team works the same way, and with a profile-building advisor it prepares a child for a top private school — and for the Canadian and U.S. university applications that come after it.
StudyPug Learning has helped nearly 10,000 students reach the results they were aiming for. Of our planning and application students, 96% go on to post-secondary study.
The StudyPug online learning platform has served millions of students and is used by school districts across Canada. That 24/7 online learning platform has run since 2018. StudyPug Learning provides academic tutoring and academic planning.
