About Grade 2 Newfoundland and Labrador math

Newfoundland and Labrador follows the Newfoundland and Labrador Curriculum, organized around number sense, patterns and relations, shape and space, and statistics and probability. In Grade 2, students build skip counting and place value skills, explore addition and subtraction strategies, work with repeating and increasing patterns, measure length and mass using non-standard units, sort 2D and 3D shapes, and collect and display data in graphs. StudyPug provides step-by-step lessons and practice problems that cover every one of these strands.
