About 1st Grade Delaware math
Delaware follows the Delaware Academic Standards for Mathematics, organized around operations and algebraic thinking, number and operations in base ten, measurement and data, and geometry. In 1st grade, students build fluency with addition and subtraction within 20, develop place value understanding for two-digit numbers, measure lengths, tell time, and work with shapes and data. StudyPug provides step-by-step lessons and practice problems aligned to every strand.
- Strands: operations and algebraic thinking, number and operations in base ten, measurement and data, and geometry
- Video lessons for every 1st grade Delaware math topic
- Practice problems and worked examples after every lesson

How StudyPug Helps Delaware 1st Grade Math Students
When a 1st grader gets stuck on place value or struggles to remember the steps for adding two-digit numbers, StudyPug lets them replay a lesson as many times as needed and work through practice problems at their own pace. Parents looking for a structured starting point can explore the 1 class maths course to see every topic covered this year. Students who want to check their progress can try a grade 1 math practice test to spot gaps before they become bigger problems.
StudyPug lessons follow the same sequence Delaware classrooms use, so the material feels familiar rather than like an entirely separate program. Each concept builds on the last, moving from addition and subtraction fluency through number sense, measurement, and geometry.
