  • Operations and Algebraic Thinking: Use addition and subtraction within 20 to solve word problems, add three whole numbers, apply properties of operations, understand subtraction as an unknown-addend problem, and relate counting to addition and subtraction.
  • Fluency and Equations: Demonstrate fluency for addition and subtraction within 10, understand the meaning of the equal sign, and determine unknown whole numbers in addition and subtraction equations.
  • Number and Operations in Base Ten: Count to 120, understand two-digit place value with tens and ones, compare two-digit numbers using >, =, and <, add within 100, and subtract multiples of 10.
  • Measurement and Data: Order objects by length, express length in whole units, tell and write time in hours and half-hours using analog and digital clocks, and organize and interpret data with up to three categories.
  • Geometry: Distinguish defining from non-defining attributes, build and draw shapes, compose two- and three-dimensional shapes, and partition circles and rectangles into equal shares.
