  • Place value and whole number operations: Reading and writing multi-digit numbers in base-ten, expanded, and word form; rounding to any place; and fluently adding, subtracting, and multiplying multi-digit whole numbers.
  • Factors and multiples: Finding all factor pairs for whole numbers in the range 1-100.
  • Fractions: Explaining equivalent fractions, comparing fractions with unlike numerators and denominators, understanding fractions as sums of unit fractions, and multiplying a fraction by a whole number.
  • Decimals: Expressing fractions with denominators of 10 or 100 as decimals and comparing decimals to the hundredths place.
  • Measurement and data: Solving word problems involving distance, time, volume, mass, and money; applying area and perimeter formulas for rectangles; and making line plots with fractional measurements.
  • Geometry: Drawing and classifying angles, lines, and two-dimensional figures; measuring angles with a protractor; and identifying lines of symmetry.
