- Polynomial Operations: Adding, subtracting, and multiplying polynomials; identifying zeros of polynomials; and using factorizations to sketch graphs of polynomial functions.
- Functions - Linear and Exponential: Understanding function notation and domain and range; interpreting key features of graphs and tables; calculating average rate of change; writing and comparing linear and exponential functions; and working with arithmetic and geometric sequences.
- Geometry - Transformations and Congruence: Defining and applying rotations, reflections, and translations; using rigid motions to determine congruence; proving theorems about lines, triangles, and parallelograms; and making formal geometric constructions.
- Coordinate Geometry: Using coordinates to prove geometric theorems, applying slope criteria for parallel and perpendicular lines, partitioning line segments, and computing perimeters and areas using the distance formula.
- Statistics and Data Analysis: Representing data with dot plots, histograms, and box plots; comparing data sets by center and spread; interpreting two-way frequency tables; analyzing scatter plots and linear models; computing and interpreting correlation coefficients; and distinguishing between correlation and causation.
- Quantities and Modeling: Using units to guide problem solving, defining appropriate quantities for descriptive modeling, and choosing levels of accuracy for reported measurements.
