- Number and Operations in Base Ten: Understanding place value relationships in multi-digit numbers, reading and writing numbers in base-ten numerals and expanded form, rounding to any place, fluently adding and subtracting with the standard algorithm, multiplying up to four-digit numbers by a one-digit number, multiplying two two-digit numbers, and dividing with up to four-digit dividends.
- Number and Operations - Fractions: Explaining fraction equivalence, comparing fractions with unlike numerators and denominators, decomposing fractions as sums of unit fractions, multiplying a fraction by a whole number, expressing fractions with denominator 10 as hundredths, using decimal notation for tenths and hundredths, and comparing decimals to the hundredths place.
- Measurement and Data: Understanding relative sizes of measurement units, solving word problems involving distance, time, volume, mass, and money, applying area and perimeter formulas for rectangles, and creating line plots with fractional measurements.
- Geometry: Recognizing angles as geometric shapes formed by two rays, measuring and sketching angles with a protractor, applying the additive nature of angle measure, drawing points, lines, line segments, rays, and parallel and perpendicular lines, classifying two-dimensional figures by their properties, and identifying lines of symmetry.
