  • Operations and Algebraic Thinking: Use addition and subtraction within 20 to solve word problems, add three whole numbers, apply properties of operations, understand subtraction as an unknown-addend problem, relate counting to addition and subtraction, demonstrate fluency within 10, work with the equal sign, and find unknown numbers in equations.
  • Number and Operations in Base Ten: Count to 120 from any starting point, understand tens and ones in two-digit numbers, compare two-digit numbers using >, =, and <, add within 100, find 10 more or 10 less mentally, and subtract multiples of 10.
  • Measurement and Data: Order objects by length, express length in whole number units, tell and write time in hours and half-hours using analog and digital clocks, and organize and interpret data with up to three categories.
  • Geometry: Distinguish defining from non-defining attributes of shapes, compose two-dimensional and three-dimensional shapes, and partition circles and rectangles into two and four equal shares.
