- Similarity and right triangle trigonometry: Dilations, similarity transformations, the AA criterion, proportional side ratios in right triangles, sine and cosine of complementary angles, and the Pythagorean Theorem in applied problems.
- Geometric constructions: Formal constructions with compass and straightedge, including equilateral triangles, squares, and regular hexagons inscribed in a circle, plus tangent lines from an external point.
- Circles: Inscribed angles, radii, and chords; inscribed and circumscribed circles of a triangle; arc length and radian measure; sector area; and proofs that all circles are similar.
- Coordinate geometry: Equations of circles, parabolas, ellipses, and hyperbolas; slope criteria for parallel and perpendicular lines; partitioning a directed segment; and using coordinates to prove geometric theorems and compute perimeters and areas.
- Measurement and modeling: Volume formulas for cylinders, pyramids, cones, and spheres; cross-sections and rotations of two-dimensional figures; density concepts; and geometric methods applied to design problems.
- Algebraic connections: Creating and rearranging equations, systems of linear and quadratic equations, scatter plots, and graphing functions with key features.
