About High School Vermont English
Vermont follows the Vermont Adopted ELA Standards, organized around reading literature, reading informational texts, writing, speaking and listening, and language and grammar. In 12th grade, students analyze complex literary and nonfiction works, produce polished argumentative and research-based writing, and refine grammar and vocabulary at an advanced level.
