Integrated Math II

About High School Tennessee Integrated Math II

Tennessee follows the Tennessee Academic Standards for math, organized around connected strands rather than isolated units. Integrated Math II covers quadratic equations and functions, polynomial operations, exponential and logarithmic reasoning, trigonometric functions and the unit circle, geometric similarity and circle theorems, coordinate geometry, volume and modeling, and probability including conditional probability and counting methods. StudyPug provides video lessons and practice problems aligned to every strand so students can get unstuck fast.

  • Strands: quadratic and polynomial algebra, exponential and logarithmic functions, trigonometry and the unit circle, geometric similarity and circles, coordinate geometry, volume and modeling, and probability
  • Video lessons for every Integrated Math II topic, taught step by step
  • Practice problems with worked examples and instant feedback
  • Content aligned to Tennessee Academic Standards for Integrated Math II

Tennessee High School Integrated Math II Topics

  • Quantities and expressions: using units to guide multi-step problems, interpreting and rewriting expressions, and choosing appropriate levels of accuracy for measurements.
  • Polynomial and quadratic algebra: adding, subtracting, and multiplying polynomials; solving quadratic equations; creating and solving equations and inequalities in one or two variables; and solving systems of a linear and a quadratic equation.
  • Functions and modeling: writing functions in equivalent forms to reveal properties, comparing functions across representations, identifying graph transformations, finding inverse functions, and modeling with arithmetic and geometric sequences.
  • Exponential and logarithmic reasoning: comparing exponential and polynomial growth, expressing solutions as logarithms, and working with rational exponents and radical expressions.
  • Trigonometry and the unit circle: radian measure, the unit circle, special triangle values, symmetry and periodicity of trigonometric functions, modeling periodic phenomena, and the Pythagorean identity.
  • Geometric similarity and triangles: dilations, similarity transformations, the AA criterion, proving theorems about triangles, and applying trigonometric ratios with the Pythagorean Theorem to solve applied problems.
  • Circles and coordinate geometry: inscribed angles, chords, tangent lines, arc length and sector area, deriving equations of circles and parabolas, and using coordinates to prove geometric theorems and compute perimeters and areas.
  • Volume and three-dimensional modeling: volume formulas for cylinders, pyramids, cones, and spheres; cross-sections; density; and applying geometric methods to design problems.
  • Probability: sample spaces, independence, conditional probability, two-way frequency tables, the Addition Rule, the Multiplication Rule, and permutations and combinations.

How StudyPug Helps Tennessee High School Integrated Math II Students

When a student gets stuck on solving a quadratic equation or working through a conditional probability problem, StudyPug lets them go directly to that topic, watch a focused video lesson, and then try practice problems with step-by-step worked examples. There is no need to sit through material they already know.

Because StudyPug is available on any device at any time, students can review a unit circle concept the night before a quiz or work through polynomial operations over the weekend, moving at their own pace without waiting for the next class.

Aligned to Tennessee High School Integrated Math II Curriculum

Every lesson and practice problem on StudyPug is built around the Tennessee Academic Standards for Integrated Math II, covering all strands from quadratic and polynomial algebra through geometric similarity, trigonometry, coordinate geometry, volume modeling, and probability, so what students practice on StudyPug matches exactly what their Tennessee classroom expects them to know.
