OR Grade 6 Math Curriculum
Give your 6th grader the support they need to keep up with Oregon's math expectations. Our lessons cover every strand taught in class, from ratios to statistics.
About Grade 6 Oregon math
Oregon follows the Oregon Standards for Mathematics, which organize 6th grade around six core strands: ratios and proportional relationships, the number system, expressions and equations, geometry, and statistics and probability. Students work with ratio reasoning, fraction division, multi-digit operations, negative numbers, algebraic expressions, area, surface area, volume, and data displays. StudyPug provides video lessons and practice problems that follow these strands step by step.
- Strands: Ratios and Proportional Relationships, The Number System, Expressions and Equations, Geometry, and Statistics and Probability
- Video lessons taught by certified teachers for every 6th grade Oregon math topic
- Practice problems and step-by-step solutions aligned to the Oregon Standards for Mathematics
- Learn at your own pace, revisit any lesson, and track progress across all strands

How StudyPug Helps Oregon Grade 6 Math Students
When a student gets stuck on a concept like fraction division or graphing in all four quadrants, StudyPug lets them go back and rewatch a clear, step-by-step video lesson at their own pace. Our 6th grade math quiz tool lets students test what they know and spot gaps before a class test or the Oregon SBAC assessment.
Parents can also use StudyPug to check what their child is working on in school. If your student is moving up from elementary school, reviewing the or grade 5 math curriculum can help fill any gaps before tackling 6th grade material.
Aligned to Oregon Grade 6 Math Curriculum
Every lesson and practice problem on StudyPug is built around the Oregon Standards for Mathematics, so the content your child sees matches exactly what their teacher is covering in class. Families can be confident that time spent on StudyPug directly supports Oregon classroom learning and prepares students for the SBAC mathematics assessment.
