New Jersey follows the NJ Student Learning Standards for Mathematics, organizing Integrated Math II around five major areas: expressions and functions (quadratic, exponential, and trigonometric), geometric similarity and right-triangle trigonometry, circle theorems and coordinate geometry, three-dimensional measurement, and probability including conditional probability and counting methods.   • Circles and coordinate geometry: inscribed angles, chords, arc length, sector area, equations of circles and parabolas, and using coordinates to prove geometric theorems and compute perimeters and areas.
  • Three-dimensional geometry: volume formulas for cylinders, pyramids, cones, and spheres; cross-sections of solids; density modeling; and geometric design problems.
  • Probability: events and sample spaces, independence, conditional probability, two-way frequency tables, the Addition Rule, the Multiplication Rule, and permutations and combinations.
