About 4th Grade New Hampshire English

New Hampshire follows the NH Model Competencies for English Language Arts, organizing learning around reading literature, reading informational texts, foundational reading skills, writing, language and grammar, and speaking and listening. In 4th grade, students read more complex fiction and nonfiction, build fluency, expand vocabulary, and develop multi-paragraph writing.
