How StudyPug Helps Maryland High School English Students
When a 9th grader gets stuck on a close-reading passage or a writing assignment, StudyPug gives them a place to work through the concept at their own pace. Each strand is broken into focused lessons with step-by-step explanations, so students can pinpoint exactly where they need help rather than rereading an entire chapter.
Practice problems with detailed explanations let students test what they have learned and build the skills that Maryland teachers expect - whether the task is analyzing an author argument or drafting a well-supported essay.
Aligned to Maryland High School English Curriculum
Every lesson on StudyPug for 9th grade English is built around the Maryland College Career Ready Standards, covering the same reading literature, informational text, writing, and speaking and listening strands that Maryland schools teach, so what students practice here connects directly to what they are doing in class.
