- Congruence and transformations: precise geometric definitions, rigid motions in the plane, rotations and reflections, congruence in terms of rigid motions, triangle congruence criteria (ASA, SAS, SSS), proofs about lines, angles, triangles, and parallelograms, and formal geometric constructions.
- Similarity and right triangle trigonometry: dilations and scale factors, similarity transformations, the AA criterion, triangle similarity proofs, trigonometric ratios for acute angles, the relationship between sine and cosine of complementary angles, and applying trigonometric ratios and the Pythagorean Theorem to real-world problems.
