DE High School Geometry Curriculum
Give your student the support they need to keep up with Delaware's high school Geometry course. Lessons and practice problems cover every strand, from proofs to trigonometry.
About High School Delaware math
Delaware follows the Delaware Academic Standards for Mathematics, organized around congruence, similarity, right triangle trigonometry, circles, expressing geometric properties with equations, geometric measurement and dimension, and modeling with geometry. StudyPug covers every strand with video lessons, worked examples, and practice problems so students can get unstuck on any topic, any night of the week.
- Strands: congruence, similarity and trigonometry, circles, geometric properties with equations, measurement and dimension, and modeling
- Video lessons for every Geometry topic, from rigid motions to volume formulas
- Practice problems and step-by-step solutions aligned to Delaware Academic Standards for Mathematics
- Works on any device so students can study at home, at school, or on the go

Delaware High School Geometry Topics
- Congruence: precise definitions, transformations as functions, rigid motions, triangle congruence criteria (ASA, SAS, SSS), proofs about lines, angles, triangles, and parallelograms, and formal geometric constructions.
- Similarity, right triangles, and trigonometry: dilations, similarity transformations, AA criterion, triangle similarity proofs, trigonometric ratios, the Pythagorean Theorem, and relationships between sine and cosine of complementary angles.
- Circles: arc length, radian measure, sector area, inscribed angles, chords, radii, tangent lines, and properties of quadrilaterals inscribed in circles.
- Expressing geometric properties with equations: equations of circles and parabolas, equations of ellipses and hyperbolas, slope criteria for parallel and perpendicular lines, partitioning line segments, and using coordinates to find perimeters and areas.
- Geometric measurement and dimension: circumference and area of circles, volume formulas for cylinders, pyramids, cones, and spheres, and cross-sections of three-dimensional objects.
- Modeling with geometry: describing objects with geometric shapes, density applications, design problems, and connecting geometry to algebraic reasoning including linear and quadratic equations.
How StudyPug Helps Delaware High School Geometry Students
When a student gets stuck on a proof or a trigonometry problem, StudyPug lets them go back to the exact concept causing trouble. Each lesson breaks the topic into clear steps, and the practice problems let students check their understanding right away.
Delaware's Geometry standards move quickly from definitions and constructions through to coordinate geometry and modeling. StudyPug organizes every topic by strand so students and parents can find what they need without searching through a textbook.
Aligned to Delaware High School Geometry Curriculum
Every StudyPug Geometry lesson is built around the Delaware Academic Standards for Mathematics, so the content students see matches what their teacher is covering in class. Whether the topic is congruence, circle theorems, or geometric modeling, the lessons follow the same sequence and expectations as Delaware schools.
