DE High School Calculus Curriculum
Give your student the support they need to succeed in high school calculus. Our lessons cover every Delaware calculus topic, from limits and derivatives to integration and real-world applications.
About High School Delaware Calculus
Delaware high school calculus follows the Delaware Content Standards, building skills across limits, derivatives, and integrals. Students explore continuity and end behavior, apply differentiation rules including the chain rule and implicit differentiation, solve optimization and related rates problems, and master integration through Riemann sums, the Fundamental Theorem of Calculus, and substitution. StudyPug provides video lessons, worked examples, and practice problems aligned to every strand of this course.
- Strands: limits and continuity, differentiation, applications of derivatives, and integration
- Video lessons with step-by-step solutions for every calculus topic
- Practice problems and worked examples matched to Delaware Content Standards
- Study tools covering optimization, related rates, area under curves, and more
Curriculum topics by strand
Find lessons and practice for every strand, aligned to the Delaware Content Standards for high school calculus.
DE High School Calculus Topics
- Limits and continuity: Evaluate limits graphically and numerically, determine continuity at a point, identify types of discontinuities, and analyze limits at infinity to describe end behavior.
- Differentiation: Understand the derivative as rate of change, apply the power rule, product rule, quotient rule, and chain rule, and differentiate trigonometric, exponential, logarithmic, and implicitly defined functions.
- Applications of derivatives: Find tangent line equations, use linear approximation, locate critical points and local extrema, solve optimization problems, analyze concavity, sketch curves, and work through related rates and motion problems.
- Integration: Find antiderivatives, approximate definite integrals with left, right, and midpoint Riemann sums, apply the Fundamental Theorem of Calculus, use substitution, compute area under and between curves, find displacement and distance from velocity, and calculate average value of functions.
How StudyPug Helps Delaware High School Calculus Students
When a student gets stuck on a problem involving implicit differentiation or related rates, StudyPug lets them pull up a focused video lesson and watch a teacher work through an identical problem step by step. They can then try practice problems with immediate feedback until the concept clicks.
Every lesson is organized by strand so students can jump straight to the topic causing trouble, whether that is setting up a Riemann sum or applying the chain rule, without having to search through a textbook or wait for the next class.
Aligned to Delaware High School Calculus Curriculum
StudyPug content is built to match the Delaware Content Standards for high school mathematics. Each lesson targets the specific skills and concepts Delaware calculus courses assess, so what your student practices on StudyPug directly supports what they are expected to know in class.
