About 9th Grade Connecticut science

Connecticut has adopted the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS), organizing learning around disciplinary core ideas, science and engineering practices, and crosscutting concepts. In 9th grade, students work across cell division and sexual reproduction, basic genetics and inheritance, elements and chemical bonding, reactions and solutions, circuits, universe and earth systems, biogeochemical cycles, human impact, and engineering applications.
