Colorado 6th Grade ELA: What Students Learn

In 6th grade, Colorado students develop essential English Language Arts skills across reading, writing, speaking, and language. The year focuses on reading both literary and informational texts closely, identifying main ideas, analyzing author's craft, and drawing evidence-based conclusions.
