About High School Arkansas English

Arkansas follows the Arkansas ELA Standards, which organize instruction around reading literary and informational texts, writing, speaking and listening, and language skills. In 9th Grade ELA, students analyze complex fiction and nonfiction, develop argumentative and narrative writing, expand vocabulary in context, and sharpen their grammar and language conventions.
