3rd Grade ELA in Alaska

Alaska 3rd grade English focuses on building the literacy skills students need to read independently, write clearly, and communicate effectively. At this grade level, students move from learning to read to reading to learn. Key skills include understanding story structure, identifying main ideas, using context clues, and writing complete sentences and paragraphs.

Reading Skills Covered in Grade 3 ELA
