<h2>Who is known as the father of geometry?</h2>
<p>The honour and prestige of this title was bestowed to the one and only Euclid of Alexandria. He was an incredible Mathematician who studied at Plato&apos;s Academy in Greece and the first to study Geometry.  He went on to publish a variety of textbooks used by mathematicians to this day. He is most known for his work on a publication titled "The Elements" that feature ground-breaking content on algebra, number theories, and of course, geometry. It is said that this masterpiece was what earned him the title of "Father of Geometry" (<a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Euclid">https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Euclid</a>).</p>

<h2>What is Euclidean geometry?</h2>
<p>Euclidean geometry is the branch of geometry that is focused on the study of 2-dimension solid geometry and planes. Some examples include basic facts such as the interior angles of triangles should equal to 180 degrees and that the shortest distance between point A and B is a straight line. Euclidean geometry was built on the basis of Euclid mathematical theories and postulates, most notably composed and synthesized in his publication "The Elements". In a broader sense, Euclidean geometry is also referred to the importance of utilizing cognitive abilities in Math. This encompasses the learner to defer techniques of memorization and formulas, and to rely on a strong, holistic understanding of the subject that allows application of skills and techniques to solve Math problems. While you may have begun studying Euclidean geometry early on in school, you will soon begin exploring concepts of non-euclidean geometry (e.g. properties of 3D shapes, such as a sphere).</p>

<p>Hi, [inaudible] this question right here. So we&apos;ve got lines 2y-6x-4 here and this one over here. They are parallel to each other. Now being parallel that means the slope of the first line is equal to the slope of the second line okay? So in order to get the slope out directly you might need to change that into "y=mx+b"<br />
form. So let's go ahead and do that so I'm just copying down the first equation on top 2y minus the 6x and minus the 4 equals the 0. Now to get to "y=mx+b" you just have to solve for "Y" basically. So if I just kind of put a 2y over here by itself move the 6x and negative four to the other side its just 6x+4 okay. Now to solve for "Y" just divide everything by the two. So six divided two is three. Four divided by two is just a two right here. So you get the first slope right here if this is my equation number one my slope of the first one will also just be a three okay. Now they must be parallel so let's take a look over here. The y-cx=0 right. So If I'm going to solve for "Y" for that one let me just copy down the question here one more time okay. So to solve for "Y" let's put a 6y here and move the cx to the other side becomes positive cx and the "Y" will just be cx over six okay. That is actually the slope believe it or not. Because there is no intersect for this one right here. This<br />
"C" over six the slope of the second one is actually just "C"<br />
over six okay. Now we know that they're parallel to each other so if they're parallel to each other the slope must be the same so this guy and this guy must be the same or equal. So that means we have a brand new equation right here. Three will equals to "C" over six. And the "C" will equals to 18. So that's your final answer right there. The<br />
