About 8th Grade New Hampshire math

New Hampshire follows the NH Model Competencies for mathematics, covering the number system, expressions and equations, functions, geometry, and statistics and probability. In 8th grade, students work with rational and irrational numbers, integer exponents, scientific notation, linear equations and systems, functions and their graphs, geometric transformations, the Pythagorean Theorem, and bivariate data analysis.
