About 2nd Grade Montana math
Montana Content Standards guide 2nd grade math through four main areas: number sense and operations, measurement and data, and geometry. Students work on adding and subtracting within 100 and 1000, understanding place value to three digits, measuring lengths in inches and centimeters, telling time to the nearest five minutes, solving money word problems, reading graphs, and partitioning shapes into equal shares. StudyPug provides step-by-step lessons and practice problems matched to each of these strands so your child can get help exactly when they need it.
