About 3rd Grade California math
California follows the California Mathematics Standards, organized around operations and algebraic thinking, number and operations in base ten, fractions, measurement and data, and geometry. In 3rd grade, students build multiplication and division fluency, explore fractions on a number line, measure area and perimeter, and work with data and time. StudyPug provides step-by-step lessons and practice problems that follow exactly what California classrooms teach.

How StudyPug Helps California 3rd Grade Math Students
When a student gets stuck on a concept like fraction equivalence or two-step word problems, they can go straight to the relevant lesson, work through a step-by-step explanation, and then try practice problems to build confidence. Our grade 3 math help follows the same sequence California classrooms use, so nothing feels out of order.
Students can also check their understanding with a math quiz for 3rd grade to see which strands need more attention before a class test or the CAASPP.
