4th Grade Math Topics in Alabama
Alabama 4th grade math covers a wide range of topics aligned to the Alabama Course of Study Math standards. 4th grade geometry introduces points, lines, line segments, rays, and angles. Alabama students learn to measure angles in whole-number degrees using a protractor, recognize angle measure as additive, and classify two-dimensional figures by their parallel or perpendicular lines and angle types. Students also identify lines of symmetry in two-dimensional figures.
