About Grade 2 New Brunswick math

New Brunswick follows the New Brunswick Curriculum for mathematics, built around number sense, patterns and relations, shape and space, and statistics and probability. In Grade 2, students explore counting by 2s, 5s, and 10s, even and odd numbers, place value to hundreds, addition and subtraction strategies, repeating and growing patterns, equality and inequality, measurement using non-standard units, 2-D shapes and 3-D objects, and collecting and graphing data. StudyPug provides step-by-step lessons and practice problems covering every one of these strands.
