Grade 9 English in Newfoundland and Labrador
The NL Grade 9 English curriculum is organized around three core strands: oral communication, reading and viewing, and writing and representing. Students at this level are expected to move beyond basic comprehension and begin evaluating language, analyzing how texts create meaning, and communicating ideas effectively for different audiences and purposes.
Oral Communication Skills
