Learn Words to Share Your Amazing Stories!

You will learn important words to describe your personal experiences and share your stories with others.

Introduction

You have many special things happen to you every day! You might play with friends, eat your favorite food, or find something cool outside. When you tell others about these special moments, you are describing your personal experiences. Learning the right words helps you share your stories better and helps others understand what happened to you.

Personal experiences are all the things that happen to you in your life. You can learn special words to help you tell about your day, your feelings, and the fun things you do. These words make your stories more interesting and help people picture what you did!

What Are Personal Experiences?

Your personal experiences are all the special things that happen to you. When you go to the park, play with your pet, or help your family cook dinner, these are your personal experiences. You can tell others about these moments by using special describing words.

Every day you have new experiences to share. You might discover something new, feel excited about a game, or remember something fun from yesterday. Learning words to describe these experiences helps you become a better storyteller and helps others understand your special moments.

Using Time Words

Time words help you tell when something happened to you. When you say "today," you mean right now, on this day. When you say "yesterday," you mean the day before today. These words help others know when your experience happened.

You can also use words like "morning" to tell what part of the day something happened. If you found a pretty rock this morning, you can tell your family "I found a rock this morning!" This helps them understand exactly when your adventure happened.

Sharing Your Feelings

Feeling words help you tell others how your experiences made you feel. When something makes you smile and laugh, you can say you feel "happy." When something makes you upset or makes you want to cry, you can say you feel "sad."

Using feeling words makes your stories more interesting. Instead of just saying "I played outside," you can say "I felt happy when I played outside!" This helps others understand not just what you did, but how it made you feel too.
