Discover How All Your School Subjects Connect Together!

You will learn how different school subjects connect together and help each other when you study interesting topics and complete fun projects.

Introduction

You will discover an exciting way to learn called cross-curricular learning! This means you can use reading, math, art, and science all together in one project. When you combine different subjects, you learn more and have much more fun. You will see how Cross-Curricular Language Skills help you connect ideas across all your classes.

What Is Cross-Curricular Learning?

Cross-curricular learning happens when you use skills from different school subjects at the same time. You might read a book about animals, count how many legs they have, and draw pictures of them all in one project! This type of learning helps you see how everything you study connects together.

When you work on projects that mix subjects, you practice Learning Words at Grade Level while also using math and art skills. This makes learning more interesting and helps you remember what you study.

How Subjects Work Together

You can combine subjects in many fun ways! When you cook, you read recipes, measure ingredients with math, and learn about healthy foods. When you garden, you can count seeds, write about plant growth, and draw pictures of flowers.

Music connects to math when you count beats, and to reading when you learn song words. Art connects to science when you mix colors to make new ones. You will use Innovation And Design Digital Tools to create projects that combine multiple subjects.

Fun Cross-Curricular Activities

You can try many activities that use different subjects together. Make a weather chart where you write words, draw pictures, and count rainy days. Create a book about your favorite animal with facts, drawings, and math problems about them.

Build projects using Digital Tools for Writing Tasks where you write stories and add pictures. You can also Work Together on Class Research to explore topics that interest your whole class.
