Before we take it to the next step, I want you to see that there's a negative and a negative, so it means positive, okay? So let's just re-write that down here and make it into a positive. Makes the question look a little bit simpler. Then, you know you're dealing with fractions, right? You've got a numerator and a denominator. So, if you're going to put them together it has to have a common denominator. So what's a common denominator between the three and six? 
It has to be the lowest one, right? So I'm just going to bring the work over here. I'm going to re-try it one more time. My common denominator is going to be six for both of them. The three over here, times by two, to the top and bottom. So the work for here is this. I need to times this number by a two, times that number by a two up top. So what I got is this. If that three times two is six, then the two times two is negative four, because there's a negative in front of that. So two times two is four. There's also a negative. The five and six kind of stays the same because, technically, you times this by one, you times that by one. So what happened is, you get yourself still the five from before, so that part stays the same. Your final answer to this question turns out to be, again, keep denominator the same, don't change your denominated. But you would take the negative four, add a five, and that leaves you just a one. We should change to improper fractions. Okay? Excuse me. So what we have here is this. We go ourselves-- Let me just rewrite the question here, down here with the division sign and here's the negative two and the one third, right? So let's change everything to improper fractions, okay? So it looks nicer. So three times one, and so remember through the room. Let me show you a little bit of work. So the work is simple. Let me choose a color pen right here. So three times the one, and plus the one on the top. So okay. This is multiplication, this is addition. Three times one is three, plus one is four. So this is actually negative four over three. Right there. Divided by the same thing right here. Three times two, and you add a one to that. So three times two is six, plus one is seven. Negative seven over three. Okay? 
When you're doing the multiplying and adding this part right here, don't worry about the negative sign. Just bring it down, all right? So we have a negative four over three, divided by negative seven over three, okay? There's two things that we needed to clear before we do anything. First of all, negative and the negative number, if you're dividing or multiplying it doesn't matter which one you're going to do, it becomes positive okay? So you don't have to worry about the negative sign anymore. So if you want, I can actually rewrite it, everything is the same except that the negative signs are gone. Okay, because negative, negative becomes positive whenever you do multiplying or dividing. Then you still have the negative-- the division sign, right? Here's a little trick for us. So four over three divided by seven over three. What happens is, if I just going to bring the work up here, and let's change the color pen so it looks better.
