En esta sección te mostramos cómo determinar si una expresión es una ecuación lineal y cómo graficarla.
Expresión algebraica: Colección de números (como constantes o como coeficientes), variables y signos tal como: 3,3x+4,5x2+2,x−3, etc.
Ecuaciones: Una expresión matemática que contiene un signo de igual, por lo tanto, también puede ser llamada una igualdad. Ejemplos: y=2,y=3x−2,y=x,x=3, etc.
Ecuación lineal: Ecuación o igualdad de primer grado, lo cual significa que sus variables tienen exponente uno. Ejemplo: Ax+By=C donde A,B y C son constantes, mientras que x & y son variables.
Todas las ecuaciones lineales son funciones, excepto aquellas en donde solamente hay una variable igual a una constante, como x=3.
